This beautiful summer wedding captured by my associate, Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer McCaslin, was full of joy and sunshine for Micklee & Kyle’s August wedding day.
They started the day at the Idaho Falls Temple Grounds, which is a wonderful choice. This temple sits right next to the banks of the Snake River, making it a serene location for a sealing to take place.
After the temple sealing, they said, “I do” in front of all their closest friends and family in Shelley, Idaho. The greenery surrounding them added so much to this special event. All these gorgeous trees made the lighting, and the moment, absolutely perfect.
The Little Details
Sometimes the little details really do matter. I love how Micklee’s dress just shimmered whenever the sunlight hit it. Their wedding colors of light blue, forest green, whites & creams with pops of summer colors (pink, orange, yellow) really complimented each other and made for a colorful summer wedding day. I also loved how those colors looked against the backdrop of the Idaho Falls Temple, with the blue windows and white stone walls.
Kyle’s suit color is a nice neutral, which doesn’t distract from the bouquet, but compliments it. They looked super snazzy on their wedding day! Which is how it’s supposed to be!!
A Beautiful Idaho Falls Temple Sealing
My associate, McCazlin Zilles, photographed their day, and I edited the photos. McCaslin grew up nearby the Idaho Falls area and is very familiar with this temple! So even thought it was a busy day, with lots of couples sealing the day this day, she was able to capture all these moments so well! She knows some of the best photo spots here, and it shows!

A Romantic Ring Ceremony
The ambiance of this location for their ring ceremony was just so romantic. Those large, green tree branches and the pond in the background really set the scene. One of my favorite things about being an Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer, is there are always a huge variety of stunning locations for photo sessions and ceremony spaces.
Party Time at the Reception!
At the end of the day, the reception is the time to let loose and dance it out on the dance floor! That’s exactly what Micklee & Kyle’s wedding party did. Kyle even did a flip, and everyone had a blast! Even the littles joined the dance party. The dessert bar also did NOT disappoint. Look at those colorful macaroons – going perfectly with their wedding colors and everything.
Celebrating Every Moment Up Until the End
Micklee & Kyle had the most fun day, and photographing all the moments in the warm, sunny weather made it all the better for my associate, McCaslin. She truly is obsessed with capturing the emotions and every moment you are celebrating your wedding day. Being an Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer is just a blast – we love every couple we have worked with in this area and it truly is an honor to capture – and celebrate – every moment with our couples.
