Everyone dreams of a wedding that perfectly captures their love story and fits who they are, and a wedding location is a BIG part of that. This is true, no matter what kind of venue it is. The great thing is that Northern Utah has so many amazing options! To help you out, I’m going over the top eight wedding venues in northern Utah. Enjoy!
The Top 8 Wedding Venues In Northern Utah
Here are some of the most popular and unique wedding venues in northern Utah to help you plan your dream wedding. We’ll start with Mt Naomi Vineyards!
#1 – Mt. Naomi Vineyards
Mt. Naomi Vineyards is home to a large, new barn (built in 2017) and vineyard located on the beautiful hillside of Hyde Park, Utah. Home to one of the largest vineyards in the Northern Utah area, it is surrounded by greenery on all sides. The gorgeous spiral staircase is the star of the main indoor reception area, and the outdoor amphitheater ceremony spot overlooks the entire valley below.

Mt. Naomi Vineyards combines both rustic and elegance, with wooden walls and detailed chandeliers in the interior. There is also plenty of space to roam the property for an intimate first look or formal photos.

Features
This venue is available for weddings and business functions year-round. They are able to fit up to 100 seated guests indoors and outdoors, with plenty of breathing room. There’s an indoor bar area that makes serving drinks, or reception refreshments simple and easy!

The land Mt Naomi Vineyards sits on has been a part of the owner’s husband’s family land for generations, which makes it a beautiful place of heritage and promise. Tours are easy to schedule, and will leave you feeling in awe after viewing the picture-perfect views.

#2 – The Hearthside Event Center
The Hearthside Event Center is a beautiful chapel located in the heart of Eden, Utah. Known as Ogden Valley’s historic landmark venue, it features a reception area, indoor & outdoor event space, a traditional chapel, and on-site accommodations perfect for weddings, receptions, art and music shows, and parties.

The Hearthside Event Center is one of the top wedding venues in northern Utah and is 100% spot-on for couples looking for a classic and romantic setting.

Features
The Hearthside Event Center is a venue that will make you think back to your wedding day and about wanting to do it all over again! The Historic Chapel and Grand Hall can accommodate up to 200 seated guests. The red-brick chapel is well-preserved, with classic features like high ceilings, arch glass windows, rustic chandeliers, and an ornate altar.

The Grand Hall is perfect for your wedding reception, with charming wood floors, a stage area for live music or speeches, and plenty of room to mingle and dance the night away.
The getting ready room for the bride and her bridesmaids is also one of the largest getting ready rooms I have ever seen in a venue. This makes it so easy for storing extra bags, for bustling around getting ready, and to move clutter away for photos to look more clean and beautiful.

My Special Deal With The Hearthside Event Center
The Hearthside Event Center is truly one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah for making those memories last forever.

#3 – The Barn In Old Paradise
This is a barn that comes with a story that hopefully matches your own! Owners Kelli and Casey decided to renovate their old, rundown barnyard to create something special: a new venue in Utah! So, they got to work, and let nothing stand in their way. A few years later, they finally built the Barn in Old Paradise, now one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah.

Features
The Barn in Old Paradise has a unique, wedding-white look to it. It feels clean and new and ready for you to use. There are surrounding fields and fences and mountains beyond.
The interior is open with a high ceiling and is made from finished wood. The simple white chairs go right along with the exterior and match the barn’s exterior wonderfully.

This venue really is a dream! The owner is also super friendly and I love how the back doors open to let in more light. Just a gorgeous place.
#4 – Rent An Airbnb In Bear Lake
If you’re looking for a unique and intimate setting for your wedding, why not rent an Airbnb in Bear Lake? Bear Lake is the perfect place to exchange your vows with its picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountains. These make it one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah.

There are a variety of Airbnb rentals available in Bear Lake that can accommodate both small and large weddings. And with its convenient location, you and your guests can enjoy all the activities Bear Lake offers.
This specific wedding was at the Skybridge Home, and features the most beautiful view of the lake. The perfect location for early summer or early fall weddings!

Features
The main feature that makes Airbnbs in Bear Lake one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah is their breathtaking views. No matter which direction you look, there’s always something stunning to see. Plus, it’s not every day someone gets to have their very own wedding at the lake!

#5 – The Smith Barn In Lewiston
You can never have enough barn options for your wedding venue. The Smith Barn in Lewiston might be small; but it’s got all the rustic charm you’d want in an intimate setting like this one.

Features
The inside of the barn will make you feel like square dancing the night away with its western touches, and aged wood floor and walls. Plus, the red-painted exterior gives off some great country vibes, and it’s surrounded by nothing but the beauty of Utah.

Contacting The Owners
This venue is great for late spring, summer, and early fall western weddings. This is an interesting venue because they don’t have any contact info anywhere online, buuuuttt I have their contact information and could help you get in touch with the owners, if you reach out to me!
Located right below the Utah/Idaho border, surrounded by green alfalfa fields and even a few animals. There is also a basketball court and games for kids to play with during the reception.

#6 – The Timbered Rose
High ceilings with large windows, white walls, and gorgeous wooden beams makes this the perfect mix for a rustic and modern venue. A great option for some indoor and outdoor aspects, and a more budget friendly option as well.
The photos below were also all taken by my associate, McCaslin Zilles from a wedding in fall of 2025!

Features
Surrounded by open fields with a gorgeous view of the Utah mountains makes this venue the perfect hidden gem. Gorgeous touches like beautiful mirrors and even a mounted cow skull in the groom’s getting ready room make this place unique and fun.

A Place of Gathering and Celebration
The Timbered Rose boasts of being the perfect location for gathering as family and friends to celebrate important events together. They built it to last, with old fashioned techniques such as using good timber and a solid foundation.
Owned by a local family, this venue is located in Tremonton, Utah.

#7 – Old Rock Church
Located in Logan, Old Rock Church is one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah, providing a historical, romantic wedding experience like no other!

The church was built in 1872 and has been a nationally registered historic landmark ever since. It is one of the oldest buildings in Cache Valley and has been meticulously restored to its original beauty. The Old Rock Church is perfect for couples who are looking for a unique and elegant setting for their wedding day.

Features
What I love about this place, as one of the top wedding venues in northern Utah, is that it lets in TOOOONNS of natural light through the large windows. I especially love this one for winter weddings. Summer weddings can enjoy the outdoors surrounded by trees with the church as a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony, dances, and other wedding events! Honestly, the Old Rock Church makes for a perfect backdrop for any wedding color theme/combination and season.
Another beautiful feature of this place is the HUGE getting-ready room for the bride, which isn’t always the case with wedding venues in northern Utah or elsewhere.

#8 – The Riter Mansion
The Riter Mansion is the perfect place to have a spring, summer, or fall wedding. This venue is located near downtown Logan, just down the hill from the Logan, Utah Temple!

The Riter Mansion has everything you need to make your dreamy classic, vintage-inspired wedding come true with fresh floral options, beautiful gardens, large windows, old-style architecture, and guest rooms for family to stay if needed. The large indoor and outdoor options flow so well together, offering ease and fun to your wedding day. They also have a columned porch to welcome guests at the front.

Features
Built originally in the late 1800’s, the historic Riter Mansion has some amazing amenities. The large indoor area is a favorite, with beautiful wooden chairs, a kitchen prep room right next door and a gorgeous fireplace. Linens are also included, along with setup and cleanup. This venue truly your wedding day more stress-free! AV equipment and a microphone is included too, which is important for not only speeches, but also for the background music that will set the tone throughout the different moments of your wedding day.

BONUS #1 – Eagles Landings Landing
Ok, I know this is a post for the top 8 wedding venues in Northern Utah – but I have to list two more bonuses! First up, is Eagles Landing. This venue is right next to the newly constructed Smithfield Temple. So it’s popularity will skyrocket for brides in the incoming years!
A large beautiful red barn located in the countryside, Eagles Landing makes for a perfect place for wedding venues in northern Utah. With a capacity of up to 120 people, you’ll enjoy all your wedding day events in one place, whether big or small.

This space will make all your dreams come true with stunning Cache County mountain views as soon as you step out of the barn. Eagles Landing tops the list of the best wedding venues in northern Utah if you want a rustic barn wedding.

Features
One of my favorite features of Eagles Landing is that it is a cute venue that can accommodate your wedding ceremony, luncheon, and reception all in ONE place! Owned by such amazing owners, they will ensure your day is perfect in every way, especially Domani, who lives close by and who you can reach for help if needed!

FUN FACT: A few years ago, I worked as a graphic designer and actually helped design the logo and signs for this company. The owner was amazing to work with, and it’s so fun to work at this venue now as a photographer! I guess it’s no wonder it’s one of the best wedding venues in northern Utah! 😉
Bonus #2 – Your Own Backyard, Ranch, or Field!
Last bonus venue idea I promise! Hear me out on this one. I have shot some STUNNER weddings in the mountains on a family ranch, in the backyard of a relatives’ house, or even in an open field. These spaces can be beautiful, as long as the weather cooperates. So why not have your wedding in a place you know, love, and will still get some great photos from? Give it a shot!

Sometimes all you need is a wide open space, beautiful mountain views, and to be surrounded by those you love most.
Both the wedding above and below took place on a relative’s ranch and they were some of the most beautiful weddings I’ve had the opportunity to photograph.

Choosing The Best Wedding Venues In Northern Utah
All the wedding venues in northern Utah listed above offer something unique and special that will make your big day perfect. Whether you’re looking for a rustic barn setting, a ski resort venue, or a private Airbnb rental, these locations will help you create memories to last a lifetime.
