This bear lake wedding bridal session was to absolutely DIE for. Everything went so smooth, and the sunrise could not have been better. Rachel and Zack definitely are the perfect couple too: so in love, ready for adventure, and giddy even when having to wake up at 3:30 am to get ready for these photos!! Rachel, Zack, and I did a lot of planning and prep work to make this dream shoot come true and it was all worth it.

A Bear Lake Wedding on the Beach = A Dream Come True!

Rachel loves the beach, she literally has a room decorated in their apartment dedicated to beach decor and colors. Due to unfortunate events, she wasn’t able to have the beach-themed wedding she dreamed of. Rachel and Zack have hired me for multiple photoshoots and I just knew a beach sunrise shoot would not only be an absolute blast with them, but also a dream come true for Rachel.

So, we made it happen.

At 3:30 am the makeup artist, Makeup by Katelyn Pierson and Zack and Rachel show up to get ready. Honestly they are such troopers. After about 2.5 hours we left to head to the beach for photos!

Now if you’ve never been to the shores of Bear Lake before, this turquoise lake with sandy beaches is called The Caribbean of the Rockies , and there is a reason why. It is an absolutely breathtaking view. And a bear lake wedding on the beach? There could be no better combination!

After a few fun shots on land, Rachel and Zack braved the waters and we got some epic photos of them in the waves. Definitely completed the Bear Lake Wedding look! View some of my favorites below!!
