Castle Manor Wedding | Winter Wedding for Kenna and Bryson | Black and White Wedding Theme

Weddings

March 28, 2023

Kenna and Bryson had the most beautiful winter wedding at Castle Manor in Logan, Utah. With a black and white themed wedding, it was classy and unique. If you’ve never been to Castle Manor – the chandeliers, grand staircase, and large rooms make it quite the stunning venue. A black and white theme complimented this venue perfectly. Baby’s breath decking the staircase, the tables, and chairs made for a beautiful sight all around.

The Proposal

When Bryson proposed, he surprised Kenna down on one knee with a Ring Pop candy. Bryson’s dad had proposed with a Ring Pop, so Bryson had always wanted to propose in the same way. Bryson’s Ring Pop was unique though. It was 3-D printed and much larger than a normal Ring Pop. As he was proposing, Bryson began to twist the top off the ring, and inside was Kenna’s great-grandma’s wedding ring.

Kenna had always wanted a ring that came from family, so she was so surprised to see her own grandmother’s ring in Bryson’s hands. Without knowing, Bryson had snuck off a month before and “ring shopped” in Grandma’s ring collection. He was SO scared to lose the ring for the whole month before the proposal. And, luckily for Bryson, Kenna said YES!!

Check out some of their engagement photos below & see some detail photo of Kenna’s ring! 😊

The Wedding Dress

The bride bought her wedding dress a year before the wedding from Petals and Promises, and it was a nearly perfect fit when she first tried it on! With its dazzling sparkle and glamorous appeal, Kenna’s wedding dress leaves a lasting impression.

The First Look

After getting ready, Kenna walked up to Bryson from behind to give him a hug before their first look. Once Bryson turned around he told Kenna, “You are sooo out of my league!” Teary eyes and sweet words were exchanged between the couple during this special moment.

Check out the gif I made below of when Kenna turns Bryson around to see her in her dress for the first time!

Kenna’s favorite part of the wedding day was when she walked down the stairs, meeting her Dad at the bottom with teary eyes, and looking up to see Bryson at the end of aisle with teary eyes too.

Bryson’s favorite part of the wedding day was when they exchange vows. He was nervous but, so proud of their vows. Bryson also loved being surrounded by our closest loved ones.

The Ceremony

Following the first look and group photos, the ceremony began. Bryson’s mother Rachel as the officiator, with Kenna’s dad walking her down the aisle. Tears were shed from everyone in attendance and the vows were unforgettable.

The Reception

Dinner was catered by The Elements Restaurant, and the strawberry cheesecake was to die for!! After dinner, the reception started with speeches, the cake cut, dances, and even auctioned off dances for the bride and groom for hundreds of dollars. It was so cool to witness!

This was seriously the most STUNNING winter wedding being surrounded by genuine, kind, fun, loving people. Such an honor to photograph this gorgeous day for Kenna and Bryson.
